Review: Urban Decay Naked2 Palette

Hey, I'm going to review the Naked2 Palette. Ever since I started with make up I knew I wanted this palette. It is quite expensive but its deffinately worth every penny!

Heres the Urban Decay site where you can purchase it!

The Urban Decay Naked2 Palette has 12 beautiful colors, most of them are shimmery.

  • Foxy is a pale yellowed beige with a matte finish. It’s on the sheer side and a bit powdery.
  • Half Baked is a coppery brown with a golden shimmer-sheen.
  • Booty Call is a peach-tinted white-beige with a frosted finish.
  • Chopper is a medium orange-red toned rown with coppery flecks of shimmer.
  • Tease is dirty mauve-brown with a matte finish.
  • Snakebite is dark bronze with a dirty golden shimmer-sheen.

Im now going to show you the swatches on my arm! Im sorry that I didn't name the colors on my arm but look back to the pictures above. (they're in the correct order on my arm)

Now I am going to tell you my opinion about it, I think this palette is worth the 50$ it cost, it also comes with a brush and lip junkie that I did not include in any pictures.
The palette can be used to make everyday eye looks, and also dramatic eye looks with the darker colors. I think the colors are well made and pigmented, the shadows all have a unique texture to them, and they do last a very long time. They are also very blend-able (but I do suggest using another brush instead of the one that it comes with although it is good quality but I do find it to be a bit stiff and it does hurt when I'm trying to blend).

I do think that the Naked2 is better than the Naked Original, although I have yet to try the Original, but from looking at swatches and videos, i'd prefer the Naked2.

    I recommend this product 100% :)

Welcome!

I am here to post about my passion with make up! I am 17 years old, wanting to pursue my dreams of becoming a make up artist. With this blog I will be able to share my thoughts about cosmetics, and also my tips that I hope you can use while applying make up :) I hope you have a fun time reading my blog posts (as I hope I have plenty as time passes by) and I also hope that you can find helpful things as well. Almost forgot, my name Keila, its pronounced Kay-la, no one has ever pronounced my name right in their first try lol yet I think my name is quite simple, it might be the spelling that throws people off.. ok, have a great time looking around. xoxo Keila
